Job Description
This position will work closely with the Marketing and eCommerce teams to meet campaign needs for both Commercial and Transactional emails to our customers. The Email Production Specialist will be responsible for building and scheduling emails on our ESP software. They will be adept in HTML coding for different browsers and devices. This position will work with template emails as well as creating custom emails as needed.

Job Responsibilities
* Code HTML emails for both Commercial and Transactional
* Ability to program an HTML email that is responsive, and will be displayed correctly across all major email software clients.
* Partner with the creative team to conventionalize appealing email design and layout.
* Modify images for HTML emails as needed
* Effectively use existing HTML e-mail layout templates for maximum efficiency and timeliness.
* Create and build Responsive Emails that will display correctly across multiple browsers and devices.
* Ensure and perform Quality Assurance procedures as implemented in each phase of email production
* Testing in cross-browser and device platforms to ensure that HTML coding is working and displaying correctly
* Schedule emails to be sent to customers
* Keep up to date on new Email Design practices
* Research new ways to improve emails

Skills or Experience
* 3-5 years of experience in an email marketing execution role.
* Experience with at least one leading email marketing service provider (Responsys or " Exact Target" or "Cheetah Mailc" or "Vertical Response" or "Constant Contact" or " Return Path" or Silverpop, etc.)
* Email execution process management prowess, including experience coordinating with marketing, merchandising, creative, analytical and technical resources to support end-to-end delivery.
* Experience with web design programs such as Adobe Dreamweaver, InDesign, Photoshop and other programs in the Adobe Creative Suite
* Understanding email technology, CAN-SPAM compliance, and best practices
* Very strong attention to detail skills
* Exude a strong sense of teamwork by working together effectively, respectfully and efficiently with all team members in a very fast-paced work environment
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously
