Latest Job 26-12-13: Executive - Non Medical Underwriting

Experience Required: 1 to 3 yrs
Job Location: Gurgaon, Delhi/NCR



Key Responsibilities:

Appraise non-medical risks for life insurance application
Using factors such as age, occupation, medical history, financial standing and other relevant conditions that determine insurability
Appraise level of risk involved in applications with adverse medical findings or where medical opinion or decision is necessary for acceptance/rejection of insurance coverage
Evaluate medical condition and analyse the test results of the applicants
Underwrite new and existing business
Recommend, accept, reject insurance coverage within limits set in the underwriting policy
Deal with some non-standard proposals directly
Conduct audits on underwriting files to ensure standards are met
Ensure underwriting decisions are communication to Agency and customers in a timely and effective manner.
